General Meeting and Annual Crab Feed

Commodore Walt’s Crabfest and Chicken Dinner.  Join fellow AYC members for the annual Crabfest on October 12.  Chicken and a Vegetarian will also be available, please indicate your preference.  Since Walt and his crew need an accurate count on how many crab to catch, registration will be cut off at NOON, Wednesday 10/10.

The evening's program will be given by our guest speaker Marlene Kleven, RN.  Marlene was responsible for medical evacuations for State Department personnel for one third  of the world, based in London.  After she retired she had the unfortunate experience of evacuating her husband from Saltspring Island after a bad accident.  She will discuss evacuation insurance, what to expect, what not to expect and how to make the best of a stressful situation.  If you boat, you do not want to miss this presentation.
